Is LDM the same kind of lifting as Ulthera?
Both use ultrasound, but their treatment purpose and method of energy delivery differ. LDM is a care treatment that uses high-density ultrasound to help with skin hydration, firmness and restoring skin condition. The choice depends on whether you want to improve a sagging facial contour or care for dry, sensitive skin.
Can I receive it if my skin is sensitive or I have acne?
You can consult us when dryness, sensitivity or recurring breakouts are a concern. However, the cause of the sensitivity and current inflammation must be checked first. If your skin has suddenly flared up recently or you are using any treatment medication, please let us know.
Does this treatment use anesthesia or needles?
It delivers ultrasound energy to the skin without using injection needles, and anesthesia is basically not required. The treatment takes about 30 minutes. If you feel any discomfort during the session, please tell us right away.
Can I receive it as recovery care after another treatment?
You can consult us for the purpose of supporting skin condition and swelling recovery before and after surgery or procedures. However, the starting point depends on the type of procedure received and the condition of any wounds. If you tell us the name and date of the previous procedure, we will check whether it can be done together.
Can I resume daily life right after the care session?
Hospitalization and stitch removal are not required, and daily activities are usually possible on the day of the session. If you have an existing skin condition or received other treatments at the same time, recovery guidance may differ. Please tell the clinic if irritation or discomfort persists after the session.
