What is Thermage lifting?
Thermage uses radiofrequency to deliver powerful heat deep into the skin while rapidly cooling the epidermis, reducing heat damage at the surface and briefly raising only the dermal temperature to 40–50°C.
It stimulates collagen production in aging skin, helping improve sagging and fine lines.

It is a treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to induce changes in collagen, aiming to improve fine lines and loosened skin elasticity. You can consult us about the forehead, eye area, cheeks, around the mouth, neck, and more. If you also have volume loss or sagging of deeper tissue, we determine during the examination which issue to address first.
What is the difference between Ultherapy and Thermage?
Thermage delivers energy using radiofrequency, while Ultherapy uses ultrasound. Because the energy delivery methods differ, the choice is made based on skin thickness, the pattern of sagging, and the areas to be improved. You do not necessarily need both treatments, and even when both are needed, the scope and order are planned separately.
What does the 4.0 Total Tip do?
The Thermage FLX 4.0 Total Tip has a surface area 33% larger than previous tips, expanding the area over which energy can be delivered. Individual results are not judged by tip size or total number of shots alone. We plan the treatment scope and energy according to your skin condition and the area.
How long does it take, and how is pain reduced?
The treatment takes about 1 hour, and a topical anesthetic cream is standard. Cooling and vibration functions protect the skin surface and reduce discomfort, but the sensation of heat and pain varies from person to person. If you are worried about pain, we review other anesthesia options in consultation with an anesthesiologist after checking your health.
Can I go to work or keep appointments on the day of treatment?
No incisions or stitch removal are required, so you can usually resume daily activities the same day. However, reactions such as bruising or swelling may occur, and recovery speed varies. If you have a photo shoot or important appointment, please let us know when scheduling your treatment date.
When are repeat treatments or other lifting treatments decided?
We decide on additional treatment after checking your skin elasticity and the progress of previous treatments. We do not apply a fixed number of shots or repeat interval to everyone. If you have recently had lifting, a thread lift, fillers, or similar treatments, please tell us the type, date, and area.
