How is Sculptra different from regular fillers?
Sculptra is a treatment that uses PLLA to stimulate the body's own collagen production. Unlike fillers, which create immediate volume with the injected material, its distinguishing feature is that changes become visible over time. You can consult us if you want to naturally restore volume and elasticity over a wide area.
Might the volume seem to decrease shortly after treatment?
Right after treatment, the injected fluid and swelling may be visible together; after the fluid is absorbed, the collagen production process continues. JAYJUN advises that noticeable changes in wrinkles and volume appear after about 4–6 weeks. Because the rate of change varies between individuals, we do not decide on additional injections based on the early appearance alone.
Which areas can I consult about?
You can consult us about areas such as the forehead, temples, cheeks, neck, and backs of the hands. Because skin and tissue characteristics differ by area, the same method is not applied everywhere. After examining the extent and degree of hollowness and the volume you want, we decide on a suitable treatment plan.
Is it better to inject a large amount at once?
Simply increasing the injected amount does not produce better results. We decide on the necessary extent by considering how collagen develops over time and the balance of your face.
