Is REJURAN an injection that adds volume like a filler?
REJURAN is a treatment that injects PN (polynucleotide) into the skin to help damaged skin recover. It mainly addresses concerns about skin texture, fine lines, dryness, and elasticity. It is best discussed separately from the goal of restoring volume in hollow areas.
What skin concerns are a good reason to book a consultation?
You can consult us if your skin is rough, dull, or dry with increasing fine lines, or if it has lost elasticity. If you have several concerns, please tell us what you most want to improve. If pigmentation or deep scars are your main concern, we will also check whether a different treatment is needed.
How long does the treatment take, and is it painful?
The treatment takes 20–30 minutes and is usually performed after applying a topical anesthetic cream. As it is an injection treatment, you may feel stinging or pain depending on the area. If you are worried about pain, please discuss anesthesia options before the treatment. No hospital stay or stitch removal is required.
Can I wash my face or wear makeup on the day of treatment?
JAYJUN's standard guidance is to wait at least 6 hours before washing your face and to avoid makeup for 1–2 days. The guidance may vary depending on the condition of the injection sites and any other treatments received at the same time. Even if you can resume daily activities the same day, this does not mean you can wash your face or apply makeup right away.
When can I exercise or drink alcohol again?
Please avoid water sports or activities that cause heavy sweating for about 1–2 weeks, and we recommend refraining from smoking and alcohol for at least 1 week. Take care to protect your skin from UV rays when going out. Recovery time may vary depending on reactions such as bruising or swelling, so please consult us about any demanding schedules.
