It is a radiofrequency treatment considered when skin firmness has decreased and fine lines or a loosened facial contour are a concern. It delivers thermal energy into the skin to induce collagen changes. We also check whether the concern is caused by volume loss or fat when setting the treatment goal.
OligioX delivers energy using two modes and uses a cooling and vibration system together. It is a device with a different method of delivering heat and a different function for protecting the skin surface. The device name alone does not determine the result; settings suited to your skin condition are what matter.
The forehead, glabella, eye area and under-eyes, nasolabial folds, jawline and neck are eligible for consultation. Because skin thickness and sensitivity differ by area, the same intensity is not used everywhere. If you tell us the area that concerns you most, we will review the scope together with the balance of the whole face.
The treatment takes about an hour and is basically performed after applying anesthetic cream. Cooling and vibration reduce discomfort during treatment, but the degree of heat or pain varies from person to person. If needed, anesthesia options are reviewed separately through a consultation with an anesthesiologist.
Since hospitalization and stitch removal are not required, daily activities are usually possible the same day. However, reactions such as bruising or swelling and the recovery period vary from person to person.
