JAYJUN · PORE & SCAR CARE

From bumpy skin to smooth, firm skin!

Jayjun
Pore/Scar Care

  • Jayjun's pore treatment removes dead skin cells and waste inside pores while supporting cell regeneration — focusing on eliminating the causes of enlarged pores and shrinking them.
  • Jayjun's scar care identifies the exact cause based on your scar type and condition, then selects a treatment method suited to that cause.

What are pores/scars?

Pores (PORE)

  1. 01

A pore is a hole where hair exits the skin — near the hair root there's a sebum-producing pouch called a sebaceous gland

  2. 02

As sebaceous glands develop and sebum increases, pores enlarge — waste and bacteria enter easily, causing acne and skin diseases, so consistent care and treatment are needed

Scars (SCAR)

  1. 01

A scar is fibrous tissue formed where a wound was — when a large wound occurs or those genetically prone to keloids have wounds that remain as scars

  2. 02

Scars differ in color and texture from surrounding tissue, and in severe cases the scar site may sink or protrude, requiring treatment

Dermashine + Salmon Injection (PDRN) program

Dermashine

Dermashine (mechanical injection)

Dermashine is an electric mechanical injector using negative pressure. While negative pressure pulls the skin taut, a pressure-sensing auto-injection mode presses a 9-micro-needle syringe against the skin. The same drug is injected at a consistent depth for uniform effect, with less pain than manual injection.

Salmon injection

Salmon Injection (PDRN)

A treatment injecting polypeptide fragments extracted from salmon into skin to stimulate cell regeneration. It restores micro-vessels and promotes fibroblasts' wound-healing ability, producing collagen and regenerating damaged tissue cells.

Treatment method

  1. 01

    tiny needles stimulate fibroblasts

  2. 02

    Inducing collagen remodeling

  3. 03

    Injecting PDRN (salmon injection)

  4. 04

    penetrating skin effectively

  5. 05

PicoFraxel

PicoFraxel device

Struggling with acne scars and pore indentations?

PicoFraxel fires a powerful pico laser to create micro-holes inside the skin, stimulating its regenerative ability.

Because new collagen forms through skin regeneration, you can even see excellent results for pore indentations and acne scars, plus elasticity improvement.

CO2 Fraxel

CO2 Fraxel device

Effective for pore and scar treatment!

A treatment that irradiates skin with a CO2 laser beam in a pinhole pattern to newly regenerate the scar tissue's epidermal cells and dermal collagen into healthy skin.

Subcision + Dot Peeling program

Subcision

When fibrosis has progressed at the scar's base, the fibrous tissue pulling the scar down is severed to induce collagen remodeling so new skin fills in — a method that improves scars through the wound-healing process. Quick procedure, minimal pain, fast recovery.

Dot peeling

Inserting the chemical TCA into scars with a needle to stimulate the dermis's interior — a scar-restoration technique that increases collagen and elastin synthesis to grow new skin and fill enlarged pores and scars. Effective for small deep wounds and enlarged pores. Safe — washing and makeup possible right away.

  1. TCA penetration01

    TCA penetration

At the indented area, a chemical called TCA is infiltrated into the dermis

  2. fibroblast stimulation02

    fibroblast stimulation

    Stimulating fibroblasts in the dermis

  3. increased collagen synthesis03

    increased collagen synthesis

    Collagen and elastin synthesis increases

Frequently Asked Questions

Are enlarged pores and depressed scars treated the same way?

Even if they look similar on the surface, their causes and skin structure differ. For pores, we look at sebum secretion and skin firmness together; for depressed scars, we check the depth and shape and whether there is tissue pulling from underneath. Rather than treating everything with a single device, we plan the necessary methods separately.

How do you choose between PicoFraxel and CO2 Fraxel?

Both procedures induce skin regeneration, but the lasers used and the way they act on the skin differ. We consider scar depth, skin tone, response to previous treatments, and the recovery time you can set aside. A higher-intensity procedure is not always more appropriate.

What kinds of scars are subcision and dot peeling used for?

Subcision releases the fibrous tissue beneath a scar that pulls the skin down, while dot peeling applies medication locally to induce regeneration. Whether each is applied is decided based on the shape and depth of the scar. Treatment may differ by area even within the same face.

What roles do Dermashine and PDRN injections play?

Dermashine is a machine-assisted injection method that delivers medication at a consistent depth, and PDRN injections are used to help skin recovery. Their method differs from lasers or subcision. Whether they are applied is discussed according to which concern is greatest: pores, skin texture or depressions.

Will scars disappear completely after one treatment?

Because scars differ in depth and extent, it cannot be guaranteed that they will disappear completely with one treatment. We monitor progress with the goal of reducing the height difference from surrounding skin and improving texture. The scope and interval of the next treatment are adjusted while checking the recovery response.

Are anesthesia and the timing for face washing and makeup the same for all treatments?

Machine-assisted injections, Fraxel, subcision and dot peeling involve different levels of stimulation and recovery processes, so the same guidance cannot be given for all. You need to check the timing for anesthesia, face washing, makeup and resuming exercise according to the treatment you choose. If you have a photo shoot or an important appointment, please mention it during consultation.
